KAUKAUNA — School buses for students in grades 5-12 will be delayed 10-15 minutes Wednesday due to an incident off campus.

A message from the district posted shortly after 3 p.m. read:

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),Due to circumstances beyond the District’s control, our secondary (Grades 5-12) bus routes will be delayed this afternoon by approximately 10-15 minutes.Thank you for your understanding.Matt Smith, Director of Secondary Education

Witnesses say that there is police activity on the Lawe Street Bridge, but authorities have not released an official statement.
