KAUKAUNA — A line of strong thunderstorms moved through Outagamie County Tuesday morning, dumping heavy rain and hail.
Hail as big as a T-spoon fell on the north side of Kaukauna about 9 a.m., according to a photo posted to the Kaukauna Community Group. Others reported baseball size hail.
Hail the size of a golf ball and larger were reported in Wrightstown.
For Wednesday, a cool air mass aloft will combine with daytime heating and the passage of an upper-level disturbance, to bring a chance of mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms to the area.
Most of Thursday and Friday will be dry before a cold front approaches the region late Saturday into Sunday morning with a return of small rain chances, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures are forecast to moderate late in the week ahead of the advancing cold front.
