APPLETON — The Fox Cities COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic will not offer first-dose appointments this week because of shipment delays caused by the winter storms in the South.

The clinic will provide second-doses as originally planned to those who came to the clinic between February 2-4.

Patients from Feb. 2-4 are asked to come to the clinic 21 days from and
at the same time of day as their first-dose appointment to receive their second dose this week.

Those who provided an email address should have received an appointment reminder via email over the weekend.

The Fox Cities COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic located at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center, 355 W. Lawrence Street, Appleton, WI 54911.

According to AP News, drug wholesaler McKesson, chosen by the federal
government to distribute most COVID-19 vaccines, is handling shipments to hospitals and other medical providers.

Some of those are going through transportation hubs in Louisville, Kentucky, and Memphis, both of which have had their operations slowed by this week’s winter storms.
