KAUKAUNA – The Kaukauna City Council will begin its new term and seat its newest member Tuesday at its regular meeting.

Marty DeCoster joins the council after winning his 1st District seat in the April 4, 2017 election.

Council members Tim Roehrig, Tom McGinnis and Tony Penterman were re-elected after running unopposed.

They join Diana Driessen, Brenda Leon, Lee Meyerhofer and Mike Coenen on the council, along with Mayor Gene Rosin.

Also on the final agenda for the current council is a resolution repealing and recreating Resolution No. 3848 establishing incentives for employees of the City of Kaukauna residing within the city.

The council also is expected to adopt the Personnel Policies and Employee Handbook.

The current council will then adjourn and begin a new session where the new council is sworn in. The mayor then will make appointments to the council’s standing committees.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in the council chambers of the Municipal Services Building, 201 W. Second St.
