LITTLE CHUTE — The Fox Valley Metro Police Department will host a mobile food pantry Wednesday Dec.14, 2016, in Kimberly and Little Chute.
Fox Valley Metro has partnered with Feeding America to provide boxes of essential food items to the areas less fortunate, according to a police department news release.
The goal is to take some pressure off of those trying to make this holiday season special for their families.
There is no residency requirement. It is first come, first served.
The mobile food pantry will be held at two separate locations during the day.
From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. officers will be handing out boxes of food at Kimberly Village Hall in the Evergreen Room.
Officers will then be at the Little Chute Village Hall in the Community Room from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
There are limited quantity of boxes available.
