KAUKAUNA — We don’t know who it is yet exactly, but owners of the Kaukauna convenience store that sold the recent $1 million Mega Millions winning ticket says the winner is a regular customer.

Not only is the winner a regular Lighthouse Corner customer, he also lives here in Kaukauna.

“We are so excited,” Lighthouse Corner co-owner Evelyn Defatte-Singh told WLUK TV. “I was the one who sold him the winning ticket. The winner is a regular, local customer and we’re thrilled for him and his family.”

“He buys everything — drinks, whatever — but he plays lottery a lot too,” Singh said.

Singh said the man even stopped in the store Monday.

The winning ticket was purchased the previous Friday, part of a drawing that with a $1.28 billion jackpot ticket that was sold in Illinois. That winners have been identified yet either.
