WRIGHTSTOWN — A Wrightstown Department of Public Works employee was taken by ambulance, treated and released from the hospital with non-life threatening injuries resulting from a crash at Main St/Nancy St.
The DPW truck was going around the village chipping brush earlier this week. It was slowing to make a turn into Nancy Street when a vehicle rear ended the chipper, according to the police department.
The driver of the striking vehicle was cited for inattentive driving.
Village of Wrightstown – Public Works & Utilities, Wrightstown Fire Department, County Rescue, Wrightstown First Responders, and TJ’s towing assisted at the scene.
