KAUKAUNA — With it’s sectional win Tuesday over Pulaski, the Kaukauna Ghosts wrestling team has again advanced to the Division 1 WIAA team tournament March 4-5, 2022 in Madison.

The Ghosts defeated Pulaski 50-26 in Neenah. The individual sectional is Saturday, with the individual team tournament set for Feb. 24-26, 2022 at the Kohl Center in Madison.

A year ago, the No. 1 seed Ghosts defeated rival Stoughton, the No. 2 seed, 38-26 in the title match. The tournament was held on the Ghosts’ home floor in Kaukauna because of the pandemic.

They now have won a total of five state championships. Their four previous championships all come in a row from 2014-’17.

Teams will be seeded on Sunday, Feb. 27 and posted after seed meetings

Teams: Arrowhead, Franklin, Holmen, Kaukauna, Marshfield, Muskego, Nicolet, Stoughton

Division 1 Quarterfinals, Friday – 5:30 p.m.
Match 1 – #1 Seed vs. #8 seed
Match 2 – #4 seed vs. #5 seed
Match 3 – #3 seed vs. #6 seed
Match 4 – #2 seed vs. #7 seed

Division 1 Semifinals, Friday – 7:30 p.m.
Match 5 – Match 1 winner vs. Match 2 winner
Match 6 – Match 3 winner vs. Match 4 winner

Championship, Saturday – 3 p.m.
Match 7 – Winner of Match #5 vs. Winner of Match #6
