APPLETON — PBS Wisconsin and The History Museum at the Castle will host two community listening sessions for two different projects focusing on the history of Appleton.
The ideas and stories shared by residents will play an important role in the development of PBS Wisconsin’s upcoming documentary “Wisconsin Hometown Stories: Appleton” and The History Museum at the Castle’s forthcoming exhibition, “You Are Here.”
The documentary’s producers, other station representatives and museum staff will host a conversation with the members of the Appleton community to learn more about the people and places that tell the area’s unique history.
According to a news release, the event will help identify critical stories to shape the documentary’s development and project the scope of the museum exhibit.
The two listening sessions will be held Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 at The History Museum at the Castle, 330 E. College Ave., Appleton.
Session one will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Session two will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Attendees can choose which of the two sessions best meets their schedule.
