KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Area School District invites community members to a ribbon cutting, dedication and open house celebrating the completion of updates at Victor Haen Elementary School.
The event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Victor Haen Elementary School, 1130 Haen Drive in Kaukauna.
The celebration will begin with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony and remarks from district officials. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to tour the updated spaces during an open house. Refreshments will be provided, and all community members are encouraged to attend.
The work at Victor Haen Elementary is part of the District’s voter-approved November 2024 facilities referendum. The project expands access to 4K and 5K programs and creates modern, flexible spaces designed to support the District’s youngest learners.
“We are excited to welcome our community into Victor Haen Elementary to see these updated spaces and celebrate this important milestone,” said Mike Slowinski, Superintendent in a news release. “This project reflects the vision our community helped shape and strengthens the learning environment for our youngest students.”
The November 2024 referendum also includes a new middle school, renovations at Park Community Charter School, safety and security improvements across district schools, and high-priority maintenance needs.
