OUTAGAMIE COUNTY – Outagamie County Emergency Management, in partnership with FEMA, Wisconsin Emergency Management, and Waupaca and Winnebago County Emergency Management, announces the opening of a Disaster Recovery Center to assist individuals and businesses affected by the April 13-23, 2026, severe weather, tornado and flooding.
The Disaster Recovery Center will officially open on Monday, July 20, 2026.

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Residents and businesses are strongly encouraged to apply for FEMA disaster assistance online before visiting the Disaster Recovery Center, if they are able.
Applying online is often the fastest way to begin the recovery process and allows FEMA to begin reviewing applications immediately.

If you need help completing an application or getting started, the Disaster Recovery Center provides one-on-one support from recovery specialists.

- Answer questions about FEMA Individual Assistance
- Provide application status updates
- Explain eligibility and required documentation
- Connect applicants with U.S. Small Business Administration representatives
- Provide information about additional state, local, and voluntary recovery resources
Residents visiting the Disaster Recovery Center should bring the following documentation, if available: - Government-issued identification
- Insurance information
- Photos or videos of disaster-related damage
- Repair estimates or receipts
- Banking information for direct deposit

SBA Low-Interest Disaster Loans
Outagamie County businesses, private nonprofits, homeowners, and renters affected by severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding that occurred April 13-23, 2026, may be eligible for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The SBA Economic Injury application deadline is March 30, 2027.
Wisconsin DWD Disaster Unemployment Assistance - Residents who lost work due to the severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding that occurred April 13-23, 2026, may be eligible for Disaster Unemployment Assistance through the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
