KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Area School District has been recognized as a Northeast Wisconsin Top Workplace for the second consecutive year, reaffirming the district’s commitment to creating a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
The recognition was presented during the Northeast Wisconsin Top Workplaces banquet held on Wednesday, July 15, at Gather on Broadway in Green Bay.
In addition to the district’s recognition, Superintendent Mike Slowinski received the Top Workplaces Leadership Award in the Midsize Business category.
The award recognizes leaders who inspire confidence, communicate a clear vision, and cultivate a workplace culture where employees can thrive.
Both honors are based entirely on confidential employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey conducted by Energage, the organization behind the Top Workplaces program.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for organizations, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they are allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
“Being recognized as a Top Workplace for the second consecutive year is incredibly meaningful because it comes directly from our employees,” said Slowinski. “This recognition belongs to our entire staff. They are the reason KASD is such a special place to work and learn. I am humbled by the Leadership Award, but it is truly a reflection of the trust, collaboration, and shared commitment that exists throughout our District. These recognitions affirm the work we have done together, but they also inspire us to keep listening, learning, and making intentional improvements that make KASD an even better place to work and learn.”
