KAUKAUNA — No injuries were reported following a fire Saturday at Kaukauna’s Ahlstrom Thilmany Mill. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
According to a news release from the Kaukauna Fire Department, emergency crews responded to the mill on May 16, 2026, at 2:13 p.m. for a reported fire.
Firefighters arrived and encountered smoke and flames at the facility.
Crews worked to extinguish the fire, and the incident was upgraded to a third box alarm, bringing additional resources from Outagamie, Brown and Calumet County fire departments.
Crews remained on scene conducting overhaul and extinguishing remaining hot spots.
