APPLETON — The northbound Wisconsin Highway 441 ramp to northbound I-41 in Appleton will close for approximately two weeks beginning at 6 a.m., Wednesday, April 15.

Week of April 13
The Buchanan Street bridge over I-41 in Little Chute is now closed until summer.
The French Road bridge over I-41 in Appleton is now closed until late summer.
Drivers will encounter various overnight reduced lanes on Northbound (NB) and Southbound (SB) I-41 in work zones.
County JJ between West Frontage Road and East Frontage Road will be CLOSED daily Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
County U/Wrightstown Road between I-41 ramps will be CLOSED nightly Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
East Frontage Road between Kerrigan Drive and County DDD is scheduled to be CLOSED beginning Tuesday, April 14 through mid-summer 2026.
NB WIS 441 ramp to NB I-41 is scheduled to be CLOSED Wednesday, April 15 through Friday, May 1.
- DETOUR: Take County OO east to County N. Turn left and follow County N north to NB I-41.
- DETOUR: Take I-41 SB to Ballard Road/County E. Turn left and use NB I-41 on-ramp at Ballard Road.
NB I-41 between County S (exit 157) and County F/Scheuring Road (exit 161) is scheduled to be CLOSED nightly Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16 from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
- DETOUR: Take County S west to County F. Turn right and travel north Scheuring Road. Turn right and continue to NB I-41.
- The following ramp is also scheduled to close during the nightly I-41 closures:
- NB I-41 on-ramp from County S will be CLOSED from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Long-Term Closure
- Lynndale Drive is reduced to one lane in each direction through late spring 2026.
- Buchanan Street over I-41 is closed through summer 2026.
- French Road over I-41 in Appleton is closed through late summer 2026.
- French Road between County DDD and Apple Creek Road in Wrightstown is closed through late fall 2026.
