KAUKAUNA — A new herbal apothecary, AM Authentically Me, has opened in Kaukauna.
The shop is located at 132 W. Wisconsin Ave., in Kaukauna’s uptown business district.
Owner Cassandra Diaz says AM Authentically Me – Herbal Apothecary is a holistic health and wellness space.
Customers will be able to find:
- All organic herbs and tea blends – with a Tea Bar to try before you buy.
- Teapots, mugs, infusers and other tea-drinker necessities.
- Mushroom infused honey and gummies that support sleep, digestion, focus and more.
- All natural, hand-crafted tinctures, salves, creams, essential oils, and essential oil blends.
- All natural candles and bath and body products, such as bath bombs, soaps, guashas, dry brushes and more.
Diaz says she has created an “herb wall,” where people can come in and create their own tea blends, or just grab a curated bag of tea all ready to go.
It also is a space where Diaz says she can offer not just alternative healing and all natural self-care products like the teas, tinctures, salves, bath & body, and spiritual care products, but also services such as 1:1 reiki and sound healing sessions – as well as provide education.
Group Offerings include sound baths, Yoga, Yoga & Sound, art & healing, Make & Takes (Make a home remedy and take it home), all available on the website under the Classes/Groups tab.
Professionally, Diaz has a Master’s degree in Holistic Health Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and experience in the mental health field.
Her own experiences have inspired her to open the shop.
“In the positions I have held, I kept running into the same question with clients, and myself – What else is out there?” she said. “I watched my clients hit plateaus in therapy and ask this question.”
Over the past decade, Diaz says she has learned as much as possible and made connections and built genuine relationships with amazing mind-body-spirit professionals.
She says she tries her best to spread the knowledge and has learned about alternative ways to heal – mentally, emotionally and physically.
