KAUKAUNA — Summer may be several weeks away, but the Friends of the Charles A Grignon Mansion are already planning for another season of tours and special events.
The season begins Wednesday, June 10, 2026 with an outdoor concert by the Little Chute Community Band. Guided tours of the historic 1837 Mansion will begin on Saturday June 13.
In conjunction with Flag Day, a special program on American flag etiquette will be presented by Kaukauna’s American Legion Post 41 before tours begin on Saturday, June 13. Legion members will be on hand to collect any worn or tattered American flags for proper disposal.
The 2nd Annual Rob Jackels Memorial Car Show will return to the grounds of the Mansion, Sunday, August 9.
The summer season will wrap up with a new event on Saturday, Sept. 19 when the Friends will host a Celebration of Lost Arts. Artisans will set up on the grounds to demonstrate arts that were once considered part of daily life, but are now practiced only by skilled craftspeople. Among the arts featured will be blacksmithing, chair caning, and fiber arts like quilting, spinning, weaving and tatted lace making.
