GRAND CHUTE — Grand Chute firefighters made a temporary change to their uniforms this week—wearing red in support of firefighter/paramedic Seth Barr, deployed in the fight against Isis.

For the past nine months, Barr has been deployed and serving overseas as a member of Alpha Co (ARES Co.) 2-127 Infantry Battalion, 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.

Operation Inherent Resolve is the U.S.-led combined joint task force mission, initiated in 2014, to militarily defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria through a coalition of over 70 nations.

A social media post shows the crew gathered around his flag-draped locker to send him a photo of support.

While his absence is felt at the fire station, we are proud of his dedication and service to our country and support him 100%.
