MADISON — Liam Crook won his third individual wrestling title, and six other Ghosts were medalists Saturday at the WIAA Division 1 wrestling tournament in Madison.

Crook, a senior, (52-1) defeated Tucker Athey (47-5) So., of Bay Port 15-0 in the 175 title match.

Crook, a University of Virginia commit, defended his championship at 175 from last season. Crook also won the 165 title in 2024 with an unblemished mark of 42-0.

Kolin DeGroot (4th)
Andrew DiPiazza (5th)
Brady Sprangers (5th)
Zach Winnekens (5th)
Jacksyn Thorpe (6th)
Perry Baehr was the eighth member of the team to qualify, the most of any school in the tournament.

Next up for the Ghosts is the 2026 State Team Tournament set for Friday and Saturday, March 6-7, 2026 at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse.
