KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Police Department on Thursday announced the retirement of Sgt. Jason Treichel after 24 years of service to the city.
The department commended him for his unwavering commitment to public safety and the well-being of the community.
A significant part of his career was spent serving with the Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group, where he participated in countless large-scale drug investigations. His work played a critical role in disrupting drug activity and keeping dangerous substances out of our communities.
Beyond his investigative work, Treichel has been a key mentor to many younger officers, according to the department.
He has shared his knowledge and experience in drug investigations, helping others fine-tune their skills and grow into confident, capable officers.
“We are grateful for Sgt. Treichel’s 24 years of service, dedication and professionalism. Please join us in thanking him for his commitment to the city of Kaukauna and wishing him a well-earned, happy, and healthy retirement,” the department said on a social media post.
