KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna Police Officer Kaylee Mickelson has started her new position Monday as the new school resource officer for the Kaukauna Area School District’s elementary schools.
Mickelson is a Kaukauna graduate and brings years of law enforcement experience to the role.
She and will be a visible, supportive presence in the schools, focused on relationship building, safety, and connecting students and families with resources when needed, according to a news release.
“We’re grateful to have Officer Mickelson partnering with our schools and community,” read a social media post from the department.
