KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Middle School Dance Team was named state champions Saturday in Division 2 Pom and runners-up in Middle School Kick.

The Kaukauna Elementary Dance Team was named state runner-up in the Upper Elementary Pom division.

Sponsored by the Wisconsin Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches, the 2026 JEM (Junior, Elementary & Middle School) State DANCE Competition was held this year at Kimberly High School.

The Kaukauna Varsity Dance Team will compete in the WACPC Varsity State Dance Competition Feb. 6-7 at the La Crosse Center.

The team qualified for three events ag regionals:

Regional Champions – D2 Pom
Regional Runner Ups – D1 Kick
6th – D1 Jazz

WACPC is a non-profit organization comprised of cheer and dance coaches throughout the State of Wisconsin.  Endorsed by WIAA (Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association), WACPC hosts competitions, educational events, recognition awards, etc. in an effort to constantly improve the cheer and dance athletic programs in Wisconsin.
