KAUKAUNA — For the past 13 years, students in Craig Sackmann’s Applied Woodworking class at Kaukauna High School have custom flag cases for the Kaukauna American Legion and VFW.
This year’s students presented these meaningful projects to members of the Legion and VFW last week.
These flag cases will be presented to the families of fallen veterans during funeral services — a tradition these students have taken great pride in.
Carstens Ace Hardware and Tri-City Glass donated materials to make these cases possible.
