KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna High School’s Civic Engagement is raffling off one free Culver’s Value Basket every week for an entire year to help fund its Grignon Park project.
The raffle is open to residents of Darboy, Freedom, Little Chute, Kaukauna and Combined Locks.
Tickets can be purchased at Kaukauna High School, during the upcoming choir concert on Thursday, Nov. 20, or directly from students in Civic Engagement: Luke Tetzlaff, Peyton Vandeloo, Lily Wendt, Hailey Leitzke, Olivia Swedberg, Addison Swedberg, Marli Sanderfoot, Shaylee Beversdorf, Lillian Pingle, Madyson Bargenquast, and Oriana Geitner.
For more information, email kaukaunahscivicengagement@gmail.com.
The class is undertaking an ambitious plan to remake the Grignon Mansion’s sledding hill, known for generations as Mount Misery.
At the heart of the Grignon Park project is a building that will serve as a warming shelter/ice skate rental/snow tube rental during the winter months, a facility for Electric City Soccer to hold tournaments and youth events during the summer, an opportunity for the Grignon Mansion to hold events and educational opportunities throughout the year.
