​FREEDOM — A motorcyclist died Saturday in a crash with an SUV, the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office says.

According to a news release, deputies with the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched about 1:45 p.m. Saturday to the intersection of County Highway E and Blarney Ct. in the Town of Freedom for a two-vehicle accident with injuries.

Deputies, along with members of the Freedom Fire Department, Freedom EMS, and Gold Cross Ambulance, responded to find a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV.

The operator of the motorcycle was found to be critically injured, and lifesaving procedures took place, according to the sheriff’s office.

The operator of the motorcycle was transported to a local trauma hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the SUV was not injured.

The investigation into this incident is still under investigation.
