MADISON — As a result of lawsuits brought against the federal government by Wisconsin and other states, municipalities, and nonprofits, the federal government has agreed to pay partial November FoodShare benefits.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, FoodShare members will receive a reduced amount of November benefits.

DHS is awaiting further details and guidance from the federal government and will work as quickly as possible to get information to the QUEST card vendor so funds can be added to recipients cards.
DHS will let recipients know as soon as they can when partial November benefits will be available.
Recipients can continue to use any funds they have on their QUEST cards while waiting for November benefits.
Benefits already on QUEST cards will not be removed because of the shutdown. Recioients can continue to use existing benefits to buy food during the shutdown.
