KAUKAUNA — Heres how you can help support Kaukauna area teachers.

Teachers spend hundreds of dollars of their own money each year on classroom supplies.

To help ease that burden, former Kaukauna 4K teacher Lisa Mader created the Teachers Ghost Closet — a new resource that will keep Kaukauna Area School District teachers and staff stocked with the supplies they need all year long.

The Chamber’s HYPE Young Entrepreneurs Group is stepping up to support the effort by collecting donations from the community.

The closet will be run by retired teachers who will stock shelves and support teachers in finding items.

To help, bring your school supply donations to the Chamber by Thursday, Oct. 23 at 4 p.m. and as a thank you, the first 50 donors will receive $5 in Chamber Bucks.

Drop off donations at the Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce located 101 E Wisconsin Ave. Kaukauna
