KAUKAUNA — Residents in the neighborhood around Strassburg Park on Kaukauna’s northeast side will soon have new playground equipment to enjoy.
The Street Department will be removing park equipment and begin site prep starting Monday, July 21, 2025. The playground area will be closed until the new equipment and surfaces are completed. Anticipated playground completion in fall of this year.
The neighborhood playground is located along Highway 96 just past the entrance to Grignon Park on Kaukauna’s northeast side.
The city council approved the upgrades in June.
The project is the latest park project in the city, following improvements at La Follette Park including the opening this summer of the new pickleball courts and new playground equipment installed a year ago.
Residents also are flocking to the new aquatic center that opened a year ago.
