KAUKAUNA — Draper Street, between Hayes Street and Idlewild Street in Kaukauna, is closed for repairs following pavement buckling.
The area on Highway 96 is just east of Sweetberry’s Family Restaurant.
The road closed Tuesday, and will likely remain closed until Thursday, July 3 at approximately 5 p.m.
This closure is to create a safe work zone for the contractor to repair the traffic and parking lanes due to pavement buckling, according to the city.
Work schedule is subject to weather and other emergency delays.
This is the second time the summer heat that a road has buckled in Kaukauna. One lane of Crooks Avenue needed repairs about two weeks ago.
