The three recruits began their training in mid-June.
Training included water rescue training, which they did at the Kaukauna pool, high-rise rescue including climbing 100 flights of stairs and putting out 10 fires, crash extraction, work on the new ladder truck and more. The training process was documented in social media posts by the fire department.
