KAUKAUNA — While the County J or Lawe Street, bridge closed in early May, the on- and off-ramps closed at 6 a.m., Monday, June 23.
The new interchange bridge and ramps are anticipated to open the end of August.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is reconstructing County J over I-41 along with the entrance and exit ramps, replacing pavement, constructing bicycle and pedestrian accommodations, and improving roundabouts to accommodate oversize/overweight vehicles as a part of the area improvements.
The existing interchange configuration at County J remains the same as a diamond interchange with roundabouts.
County J Detour Route: Motorists should use WIS 55/ Delanglade St., County JJ/ Edgewood Dr. and County J/ Lawe St. to get around these closures.
