KAUKAUNA — A popular summer event will be returning to the grounds of the Grignon Mansion in Kaukauna this summer with a new name and a new mission.

The Rob Jackels Memorial Car Show at the Grignon Mansion will be held on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the mansion located at 1313 Augustine St.
Jackels, who passed away in February, was instrumental in promoting the show and growing it from the handful of vintage autos 10 years ago to an event that drew more than 140 entries last year.
Organizers hope to top that number this year with the $15 entry fee going toward a scholarship in Rob Jackels’ name to be awarded to a high school senior continuing his or her education in automotive trades.
In addition to the cars, the family friendly event will feature lawn games popular in the Victorian period and tours of the 1837 home built by Charles A. Grignon.
A food stand run by the Friends of the Grignon Mansion will feature grilled burgers, hot dogs and brats. Chips, soda and dessert cookies will also be available.
The event also will feature a basket raffle and silent auction for a Jordan Love autographed football. Horse drawn wagon rides of the property will be available.
While there is no fee to tour the grounds, cars and games, donations are welcome. An admission fee will be charged to tour the Mansion, $9 for adults, $8, seniors, youth $6 and children 5 and under are free.
