KAUKAUNA — There will be one contested Kaukauna City Council race in the April 1, 2025 election, and four people are running for three seats on the Kaukauna Area School District Board of Education.
In-person absentee voting goes from March 18-March 28, 2025 at the city clerks office in Kaukauna during regular business hours. There will be no in-person absentee voting or registrations the day before the election.
The race for alder in District 1 will be a rematch of the 2023 race.
Incumbent Marty DeCoster faces a challenge from Liz Walker for a two-year term.
Kellie Antoine in Dist. No. 2, Brian Schell in No. 3 and Pennie A. Thiele in Dist. No. 4 will be running for re-election unopposed.
SCHOOL BOARD
One challenger is facing three incumbents running for three seats on the Kaukauna Area School District Board of Education.
Kimberly Schaefer is challenging incumbents Chad Berken, Melissa Kurey and Christine Bouressa.
The winners will serve three-year terms.
Other offices to be elected on the April 1, 2025, Spring Election ballot include Justice of the Supreme Court, State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
