KAUKAUNA — Miami Dolphins fullback and former UW Badger Alec Ingold was in Kaukauna Wednesday to share his message of faith with students at his afternoon St. Ignatius and Chesterton Academy.

Ingold, a Bay Port High School graduate, spoke to students about persevering through difficulties with a smile on their face, living in the moment and seizing opportunities — and through it all, keeping God at the center, according to a social media post.

In high school, Ingold was named the Associated Press Wisconsin Player of the Year and the Gatorade Wisconsin Player of the Year his senior year as a dual-threat quarterback.

Ingold played for the Badgers, then signed with the Oakland Raiders in 2019 as an undrafted free agent before signing with the Dolphins.

Ingold was adopted, and now helps to promote various organizations that raise awareness and help the adoption of children. He also promotes his Christian faith during the off-season at schools and other organizations.

“Thank you Alec for stopping by to give witness to your faith, trials and successes,” the school wrote on social media.
