KAUKAUNA – The City of Kaukauna plans to launch its new website the week of March 17, 2025. Featuring a fresh navigation menu, additional community resources and an enhanced search function, the new website was designed with users in mind, according to a news release.

“Our current website has a lot of our information housed within the corresponding department, which isn’t very intuitive for users,” Andrea Fencl, marketing and communications manager was quoted as saying. “The new website makes information more readily available right from the navigation bar and the home screen.”

Some additional features include:

  • More accurate search function with the ability to filter by website pages, news posts, events and media files.
  • Engaging events page with pictures, descriptive categories, and options to add events directly to your personal digital calendar.
  • “How do I?” tab with some of the most sought-after information Kaukauna community members ask for.
  • Updated parks page with pictures and the ability to navigate directly to the park via the “Get Directions” button located in the park’s description.

“We received a lot of feedback on our existing website from residents over the years, and we used that feedback to build a better website,” City of Kaukauna Mayor Tony Penterman said. “We’re really excited to share this with everyone and we hope residents, visitors and businesses find the website easier to use.”

The city notes that there may be minor delays in the early stages following the website launch as they work out potential bugs. Constructive feedback and suggestions may be submitted to the Marketing and Communications Manager at afencl@kaukauna.gov.
