KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Ghosts boys basketball team cruised to victory in its post-season opener Friday with a 94-58 win over Appleton West.

The 2025 Fox Valley Association conference champions and top-seeded Ghosts will play either Hortonville or Neenah Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Regional final.

Top-seeded Kaukauna sprinted out to a 53-22 halftime lead over #17 West behind the three-point shooting of senior Keegan VanKauwenberg.

VanKauwenberg, who will attend UW-Green Bay in the fall and play for the Phoenix, had 8 3 pointers in the first half and 30 points total.

In the second half, pushed the lead to 40, triggering a running clock with 9 minutes left in the game while going deep into the bench.

VanKauwenberg finished the game with 30. Caden Graff had 16 and Andrew Jensen finished with 13.
