KAUKAUNA — Work is continuing throughout the winter on the new GrandStay Hotel in Kaukauna’s Commerce Crossing.
A social media post last week chronicling the construction said the first floor is fully framed in and work has begun on the second floor.
The hotel will be a 4 story, 76 unit hotel with a bar, breakfast room, exercise room, meeting room, and swimming pool/hot tub, according to a staff memo.
Douglas A Carlson Development Inc., the developer, expects to have 12 to 15 employees on staff.
The hotel is located at 1541 Arbor Way in the Commerce Crossing development on Kaukauna’s north side.
The foundation was poured in November, and the hotel is expected to open later this year.
