KAUKAUNA — A brother and sister are now serving the city of Kaukauna, one with the fire department, the other with the police department.
Probationary Firefighter/Paramedic Ray Shanle joined Local 1594 was sworn in Thursday as a member of Kaukauna Professional Firefighters Local 1594.
He is excited to work for the same city as his sister, who’s a police officer with Kaukauna Police Department, according to a social media post from the local.
Shanle is looking forward to learning as much as possible and continuing his service to the community and comes to the department and union with a vast amount of military experience and leadership.
