APPLETON — One of Wisconsin’s biggest music festivals kicks off Thursday when the 11th Mile of Music Festival takes over downtown Appleton, Wisconsin, from Aug. 1-4, 2024. WEB I SCHEDULE I FAQ

The festival is a truly unique festival that offers a refreshing take on the traditional music festival experience. Here’s what you can expect:

  • All Original Music: Unlike most festivals, Mile of Music exclusively features original music from a diverse lineup of up-and-coming artists.
  • Intimate Venues: Enjoy performances in a variety of settings, from cozy coffee shops and bars to outdoor stages.
  • Immersive Atmosphere: The festival transforms downtown Appleton into a vibrant music hub, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.
  • Free Admission: Most venues offer free admission, making it easy to explore and discover new artists.
  • Diverse Genres: From folk and indie to rock and jazz, there’s something for everyone.
  • Community Focus: The festival fosters a strong sense of community, with opportunities to interact with artists and other attendees.

    Essentially, you can expect a laid-back, music-focused experience where you can discover new artists, explore the charming downtown area, and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere.

  • If you are creating your schedule, we recommend choosing either the app OR website, as the two do not connect.
  • The app allows you to create & save your own schedule. This year, the website does not currently have a feature for favoriting or adding shows as our web team looks to redevelop My Mile in the future.
  • If you are using the app, you may need to manually update your app if you don’t have automatic updates turned on!
  • Be sure to enable push notifications for the app so you can receive our festival announcements!
