LITTLE CHUTE — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region reminds motorists that Rose Hill Road over I-41 will be closed starting Monday, May 6, 2024.

Drivers can expect overnight full freeway closures during the bridge removal operation. This work is part of the overall I-41 major project that will reconstruct and expand 23 miles of I-41 from four lanes to six lanes between WIS 96 (Wisconsin Avenue) in Appleton and County F (Scheuring Road) in De Pere.

Traffic impacts

  • Rose Hill Road between Fairlane Drive and E. Evergreen Drive will be closed beginning on May 6, 2024, through mid-September 2024
    • Traffic will be detoured using County OO, WIS 55 and Edgewood Drive
  • During bridge removal:
    • Northbound traffic will be detoured from I-41 at WIS 441 to County OO/Northland Avenue and WIS 55
    • Southbound traffic will be detoured from I-41 at WIS 55 to County OO and WIS 441
