KAUKAUNA — As the temperatures dipped below freezing this week, workers as thinking about the balmy days of summer as work continues on Kaukauna’s new Aquatic Center.

Work currently under way includes the splash pad and bath house.
The city has been working to raise $1 million of the estimated $6 million for the project from public donations through its “Something for Everyone campaign.”
Financing
$1 million – Capital Campaign
$1.5 million – Tax Increment Financing
$3 million – City Borrowing (tax payers)
$500,000 – Parks & Pools Capital Funds
City leaders say the new Aquatic Center will change the way the community thinks about their outdoor pool. It will be a gathering place for people from throughout the Kaukauna area and a source of summer memories that will last forever.
Improvements to the facility will include:

• Shade Structures
• Climbing Wall

Work began in August with a tentative date in May 2024 for the dedication and pool opening in June.
