KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts enter the 2026 season looking to build on the momentum of a year ago.
The Ghosts travel to Nathan Hale High School in West Allis Friday for their season opener beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The Ghosts have reached the WIAA playoffs for seven consecutive seasons (2019–2025) and made state semifinal appearances in Level 4 from 2022 to 2024.
Hale’s coaching staff has faced upheaval just as the season is about to get under way.
Seven of the team’s 11 coaches have resigned this month amid an ongoing investigation.
The West Allis-West Milwaukee School District confirmed an open investigation into “possible criminal conduct or misconduct.”
The season features only three home games and six away games.
