LA CROSSE — Kaukauna High School senior Jenna Kinas earned a 5th-place podium finish in the 300-meter hurdles over the weekend at the WIAA State Track and Field meet in La Crosse.
Kinas set a new school record of 44.86 seconds, breaking her previous record.
Kaukauna Track and Field shared the results Sunday on its Facebook page.
The girls’ 4×400-meter relay team finished just outside the top ten, placing 11th overall. Team members included Kayla West, Jenna Kinas, Isabelle Maass and Hattie Mader.
Asha LyBoualong finished 18th in the pole vault, while Hunter Meyers placed 13th in the shot put.
Madison Koschnik narrowly missed the podium with an impressive 8th-place finish in the high jump.
The girls’ 4×200-meter relay team also had a strong showing, finishing 12th overall. Team members included Kayla West, Jenna Kinas, Isabelle Maass and Addison Banaszynski.
