OSHKOSH — The Winnebago Detachment Marine Corps League #357 and Auxiliary of Oshkosh will host its 15th Annual Veteran’s Benefit & Ride on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
According to a news release, the benefit will be held at the Marine Corps League located at 4715 Sherman Road in Oshkosh.
A self-guided poker run for motorcycles or any other type of vehicle, with seven stops is planned. Cost for the poker run is $20 per participant and $10 per passenger and includes the poker hand and a meal following the ride.
Registration will be on June 6th from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.
Riders should return to the Winnebago Detachment Marine Corps League #357 to obtain their poker hand and enjoy their complimentary meal.
There will be different raffles held which will include donations from many Wisconsin Sports Teams (Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Herd, Green Bay Packers, Green Bay Gamblers, etc.), tickets to XRoads 41, Circus World Museum in Baraboo, Lake Geneva Cruise, and other Wisconsin Attractions, Casino Packages, golf packages, and many other items donated from area businesses. In addition, there will also be a Sportsman’s Raffle with 11 prizes. Drawings for the Sportsman’s Raffle and other raffles will begin at 6:00 p.m.
If you don’t want to participate in the ride you can still come out to purchase raffle tickets, enjoy food and refreshments on the grounds and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. enjoy music by the band Vice Versa. There is no cover charge to enter the grounds.
This year we will be using the proceeds from this event to support the Winnebago Detachment Marine Corps League #357 as well as other community programs and local non-profit organizations. In recent years, the Detachment & Auxiliary have donated to the Old Glory Honor Flight, Dogs to Dog Tags, Vets & Friends of Appleton, Day by Day Shelter, and Teacher’s Closet to name a few. We have also made donations to veterans in the community who needed assistance as well as providing scholarships to local students in Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha, Appleton, Omro, and Winneconne.
