KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna High School vocalists and musicians have qualified for the Wisconsin School Music Association State Solo & Ensemble Festival and to all of the students following district level competition.

State festivals are held at a total of 11 University/College campuses around Wisconsin the last Saturday of April and first Saturday of May.

“We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and musicianship these students demonstrated,” KHS Band Director Jacob Martin said in a news release.

Each year more than 32,000 students throughout the state qualify at district festivals to perform at State Solo & Ensemble festival, making this event one of the largest of its kind in the nation.

These students represent the student talent and high quality of music programs in Wisconsin’s schools.
