KAUKAUNA — Seventh-grader Jack Ryan was a winner last weekend in the state Elks Hoop Shoot contest, earning him a spot in regional competition next month in Iowa.
Ryan made 24 out of 25 free throws to secure the win in his age group at state.
Next up is the North Central Region 3 Hoop Shoot Semi-Final, March 14, 2026 in Iowa City, Iowa.
The North Central Region includes competitors from Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and Minnesota.
Winners at the semifinals advance to the 2026 National Finals, April 18, 2026, in Chicago.
The 2026 Elks Hoop Shoot National Finals will take place at Wintrust Arena, home of the WNBA Chicago Sky and DePaul Blue Demons.
The contest will be livestreamed on the Elks National Foundation’s YouTube Channel.
