KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Police Department on Wednesday congratulated Sgt. Robert Momberg on his retirement after 28 years of dedicated service to the city.
According to the news release, Momberg has exemplified professionalism, integrity and leadership throughout his career with the Kaukauna Police Department.
In addition to his supervisory role, he served as a field training officer, helping guide and develop the next generation of officers.
His patience, knowledge and steady leadership made a lasting impact on countless new officers as they began their careers, according to the department.
Momberg also served as lead evidence technician, where he played a critical role in evidence collection and crime scene processing, ensuring cases were built on thorough, professional work.
His expertise and attention to detail have strengthened the department and supported successful investigations for years.
Beyond the titles and assignments, the department says Momberg has been a true mentor to many within the agency — someone officers could rely on for guidance, advice and support.
“We are incredibly grateful for his 28 years of service and the legacy he leaves behind. Please join us in thanking Sgt. Momberg for his dedication to the Kaukauna community and wishing him a well-deserved, happy, and healthy retirement,” the department wrote in a social media post.
