KAUKAUNA — Senior Luke Tetzlaff, a standout linebacker for the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts football team signed his national letter of intent Wednesday to play for the Bison of North Dakota State University.

The football program has added 29 high school student-athletes and nine transfers for the 2026 season, according to a news release.
 
The Bison added 21 high school players during the early signing period in December and eight more, including Tetzlaff on Wednesday, Feb. 4, the first day of the regular signing period for Division I football.
 
The high school recruiting class includes five players from the state of North Dakota, 11 from Minnesota, seven from Wisconsin, three from Illinois and one each from Nebraska, Colorado and Idaho.

North Dakota State University is widely considered the most dominant program in the history of the Division 1 Football Championship Subdivision.

The Bison have won 18 national titles overall. This includes a staggering 10 FCS National Championships since 2011.

The most prominent former NDSU player currently on the Green Bay Packers is star wide receiver Christian Watson.
