KAUKAUNA — Do you have an opinion on a name for Kaukauna’s new middle school?

If so, you can join members of the Kaukauna Area School District Board of Education for the second of two public hearing sessions to share input on the four finalist names for the new middle school.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 12 in the district board room at the district office next to the high school.

The board earlier selected four names as finalists for the new middle school.

The names were chosen from those submitted by the public.

The finalists are:

Kaukauna Middle School
Electric City Middle School
Sheldon Niquette Middle School
River View Middle School

These names were the most recommended by the community, and River View appears in the list because it aligns with the District’s naming policy.

Community members are invited to provide feedback on these options before the board approves the final name.

After these sessions, the board will vote on and approve the official name of the new middle school.
