KAUKAUNA — Carson Van Dinter, a 2024 graduate of Kaukauna High School and all-state defensive back for the Ghosts’ football team, announced Saturday he’ll transfer to the University of Wisconsin.
Van Dinter was a three-sport standout at Kaukauna High School before joining Iowa State in 2024.
A redshirt as a true freshman in 2024, he has three years of eligibility remaining after announcing four days ago he was leaving the Cyclones program.
He gives the Badgers another option at safety where they’re trying to replace Austin Brown (completed eligibility), Preston Zachman (transfer) and Matt Traynor (ACL injury).
