GREEN BAY — Green Bay Police are seeking witnesses and dashcam video of the chain-reaction crashes Wednesday on I-41 that injured a village of Howard woman.

The crashes happened about 5:15 p.m. on northbound I-41 between Lombardi Avenue and West Mason Street.

The 22-year-old woman, who was driving one of the vehicles involved, remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries as a result, according to a news release.

Investigators said in the news release that they’ve learned a dark-colored sedan may have been traveling erratically across all lanes of traffic—causing some drivers to brake abruptly, which led to multiple crashes.

Police are asking anyone who may have been driving through the area at the time of this incident and may have evidence of a vehicle fitting in with this description to contact them.
